Music applications for the 2026 Girdwood Forest Fair are now open!
July 3rd, 4th and 5th
Since it’s beginning, the Forest Fair has brought together the finest musicians and entertainers from Alaska and beyond! Like the craft booths, the focus is on original works and bringing a variety of musical styles to the stage, “something for everyone”. Girdwood has long been an ardent supporter as well as successful breeding ground for musicians and entertainers. Some of Alaska’s most popular bands got their start and have their biggest success playing in Girdwood, and we love he opportunity to have them!
There are 4 stages at the Forest Fair, with bands rotating throughout the stages all three days:
- Marlow Pavilion – full size bands – Main Stage
- Hoppin’ Barley Stage – Beer Garden stage
- The Beach Stage – Acoustic and Eclectic stage
- The Swingin’ Slide Stage – Stage for youth musicians
From rising youth musicians to well-established bands, the Forest Fair celebrates artists at every stage of their journey. If your music is original and you’re excited to perform in a vibrant, supportive festival setting, we’d love to hear from you.
Where’s our young talented musicians?! We want to feature you on the Swingin’ Slide Stage at the 2026 Forest Fair!
July 4th
Girdwood has long been an ardent supporter as well as successful breeding ground for musicians and entertainers, including our youngest stars! We are looking to fill (up to) 20 minute spots from 12:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, July 4th. We encourage all of our young performers to show off their talent? Only have one, 3-minute song to sing? No problem! Do you have a 10 minute juggling act? Great! Are you going to “Wow” everyone with a full 20 minute magic show? Awesome!
